Round 6 Night w/ Illya
Jan. 23rd, 2018 11:48 pm[ It's been a long 18 days for Ulaz, but so far, he has endured. He worked for many years as a doctor adjacent to the Empire's gladiatorial arena, bearing witness to the suffering it contains, and that experience has carried him through most of this trial. Spite and the lessons of the Blade of Marmora have carried him through most of the rest.
But today was the final straw. He could endure the hollow promises of having his life back or his home restored--he'd already willingly chose to forsake the former and the loss of the latter was an old wound, long since healed over. He could accept the threat of the Blade being exposed--they would not remain in the shadows much longer regardless, not with Voltron building up to a full rebellion.
He cannot tolerate a threat being made against Shiro. Without Shiro, there is no Voltron. Without Voltron, there is no hope. He cannot allow the universe's future to be threatened like this. The Blade of Marmora teaches its members that the mission is always more important than the individual, that the cause must take precedence over all else. Ulaz knows this. He believes in it. He's willing to die for the cause. He's done it once before already.
He's willing to kill for it, too.
And so, tonight, he dons his Blade of Marmora uniform, with its hood and mask (for all that does to disguise his identity--he's still the only person in the building over 7 feet tall), and takes to the halls on a hunt. He's done this on previous killing nights, of course, but on those, he was seeking knowledge.
Tonight, he seeks only victory, or death. It doesn't matter who the first person he encounters in the halls is, either he kills them, or they kill him. Either one will fulfill his purposes. Either one will ensure hope remains alive. Voltron will save the universe. That's worth it, no matter what happens.
No matter who he has to kill here. ]

Jan. 6th, 2018 11:50 pm[ Ulaz has been spending most of his time since yesterday morning in the nurse's office trying to babysit his stupid, headstrong patients, but he makes the time to track McGonagall down at some point for a private conversation. And wastes absolutely no time in getting to the point. ]

Round 2 Night w/ Lux
Dec. 19th, 2017 12:55 am[ Much like the previous time they went exploring together, Ulaz leads the way silently in his full Blade of Marmora uniform, although tonight sees the addition of a kitchen knife sticking out of one of his belt pouches like a makeshift scabbard. Arguably it's wholly unnecessary for him to be carrying that--he has no intention of using it on Lux and no suspicion that Lux intends to attack him, but he also has no guarantee they won't run into anyone else. He'd much rather be prepared.
This time, at least, he doesn't wait until he's found something to start making conversation. ]

Round 1 Night w/ Lux
Dec. 13th, 2017 01:15 am[ Ulaz is not what you'd call the most charming of nighttime company, especially for a teenage girl, but, well. Here they are. He could certainly be worse company, sure, in that he's not trying to kill her, but he's probably not doing a great job at actually reassuring Lux of that fact, decked out as he is in his full Blade of Marmora uniform, mask and hood and all, and leading the way in complete silence.
